VSME Report Preparation - Terms of Service
Last updated October 2026. These terms govern the VSME report preparation service ("the Service") provided by AI Sustainable Future ("we", "us"). They are the complete terms for VSME report orders and stand on their own.
1. Nature of the service
The Service is report preparation support: we structure the data you provide into the official EFRAG VSME digital template, produce the validated inline-XBRL files and a branded PDF, and a named person reviews the deliverable for completeness, internal consistency and format validity before release. The report is prepared in accordance with the VSME standard.
The Service is not an audit, assurance engagement, verification, certification, or professional, legal, accounting or tax advice. We express no opinion on the underlying data, and we do not guarantee any compliance outcome or that any third party (for example a bank, customer or regulator) will accept the report. Acceptance is at the recipient's discretion. We do not describe the report as "CSRD-compliant".
2. Your data, your attestation
You are the source of truth for the report's content. You attest that the information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you are authorised to provide it. We rely on it as supplied and do not independently verify it. Emissions figures derived from spend data are estimates. The report discloses an uncertainty band of +/-25-40% for them, which is our engineering estimate for the spend-based method, not a figure published by the GHG Protocol.
3. Sole remedies: revision or refund
If the delivered report is inaccurate against the data you provided, or the delivered files are not valid in the official format, your remedy is, at our option, revision until right (scoped to accuracy against your provided data and to the validity of the delivered files in the official format) or a refund of the fee paid for that report. These are your sole and exclusive remedies. The revise-until-right commitment is never a guarantee of any compliance outcome or third-party approval.
Founding clients. Each of our first 10 VSME clients gets (a) next year's report for the same tier at the price paid for this one, and (b) revisions until the report is accurate against the data the client provided and the delivered files are valid in the official format. For a founding client we refund instead of revising only if the client asks. We recognise a founding client by the email address used at checkout; if you renew from another address, tell us and we will apply the founding price. Neither commitment is a guarantee of any compliance outcome or third-party approval.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Service is capped at the fees you paid for the report giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for any lost profits, lost business, fines, or third-party decisions, even if advised of the possibility. The Service is provided "as is".
5. Ownership
You own the data you submit and the finished report we deliver, and you may use, publish and submit it freely. We retain ownership of our software, templates, methodology and the tooling used to produce it.
6. Resolving concerns
Any concern is resolved directly with us - remedies are revision or refund as described above, and our total liability is capped at the fees paid.
